NARITA, Chiba — Narita International Airport’s dedicated business jet terminal, known as Premier Gate, will reopen on Aug. 1 following a major renovation aimed at accommodating growing demand and expanding services to domestic travelers. The former Shimazu family residence’s main building, located in the capital’s Shinagawa Ward, was designed by British architect Josiah Conder, who is also known for such landmarks as the Rokumeikan in Tokyo.
